When was the last time you had a lightbulb moment?

A family snap from your last holiday. Razor sharp. Hair blowing in the wind, the little one has ice cream dripping down their fingers, and in the background is a sunset that would make even Capri green with envy.

This picture isn’t just hanging on any old wall. It isn’t sitting on any desk, nor is it in anyone’s wallet.

Much better: it’s on a mobile phone – not indoors, but outdoors. Printed directly onto the silicone case – in brilliant print quality. And, of course, it’s abrasion-resistant. That way, everyone in the photo looks fresh and rested. And that goes far beyond your next holiday.

And does it always have to be the large holiday snap style?
Not necessarily. Sometimes a graphic, a logo, a serial number or a minimalist design is all that is needed. If you provide us with the appropriate template, we will assess what is technically and economically feasible – including, for example, printing on panels.

The era of new

opportunities

You could say that a new era has begun. There is now a before and an after.

Before digital printing on silicone became available, you had to choose between high-quality design or top-class functionality.
Now both are possible. Today’s silicone surfaces (and ours) fulfil their function as seals, protective elements or control features, whilst at the same time becoming a visual brand experience.

Multi-coloured, photorealistic designs, changing graphics and serial numbers, textured surfaces with precise positioning and many other customer requirements that were technically or economically unfeasible using traditional printing methods can now be produced to the highest standard – from a batch size of just one.

Where there’s a will,

there’s a lightbulb moment

Even flexible, soft, stretchy surfaces that have to withstand a great deal (abrasion, chemicals, temperatures ranging from −40 °C to +105 °C) can be visually enhanced and customised using digital printing. In short, the focus has shifted. The question is no longer: What is technically feasible without costs spiralling out of control? The question today is: What are your requirements in terms of design? Dreams become reality. This opens up entirely new possibilities for product developers and innovation departments across all sectors. Wherever silicone needs to be both visible and durable, digital printing technology delivers some real lightbulb moments.

Five nods

equal one call

-Do you want to combine design and functionality?
-Do you have high standards?
-Would you like to have a variety of design options?
-Are traditional printing methods reaching their limits?
-Have you avoided using silicone designs up to now for cost reasons?

Then now is the time to get in touch with us. Let’s work together to bring your ideas to life – with brilliant digital printing on high-performance silicone.

PS: Of course, in addition to digital printing, we also offer other printing methods on silicone – such as pad printing or screen printing. Which solution is best for you depends entirely on what you want, the requirements your product needs to meet, and the outcome you wish to achieve.
