Since our foundation in 2001, we have continuously established ourselves as a leading supplier in the painting and coating industry. From our humble beginnings painting multi-function steering wheel switches for the Mercedes Benz E-Class to the development of innovative pre-treatment processes and state-of-the-art PVD technologies – our history is characterised by commitment, quality and technological progress.

Installation of a heat recovery system to achieve the sustainability targets

Development and qualification of new PVD colours for the automotive industry
Commissioning of our combined heat and power plant to convert solvents generated during production into energy
Commissioning of our 406 kWp photovoltaic system

Participation in the KLIMAfit project, including the preparation of a carbon footprint analysis to identify cost-effective measures for improving energy efficiency

Expansion of the product portfolio to include PVD on metallic substrates, such as galvanised substrates and solid metal components
Automation of labour-intensive process steps in silicone production at the Silcos plant in Dongguan, China

For 25 years, Silcos has stood for innovative strength, precision and quality made in Germany. What began as a start-up in Pliezhausen has grown into an internationally sought-after specialist in the finishing of silicone, plastic and metal surfaces – with patented technologies, global presence and plenty of inventive spirit.
